Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
DocNeer (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights. By using docneer.co.in, you accept the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
When you sign up and use DocNeer, we collect:
- Account details: your name and email address (used for sign-in)
- Authentication data: password (stored as a one-way hash — we never see or store your plain-text password)
- Test attempts: which tests you have taken, your answers, scores, and time taken
- Payment information: when you purchase Premium, payment is processed by Razorpay. We receive a confirmation of payment status and a Razorpay payment ID. We do not receive or store your card number, CVV, bank account, or UPI ID.
- Technical information: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and access timestamps
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service
- Track your test attempts and display your best scores
- Send service-related emails (account confirmations, payment receipts, important policy changes)
- Respond to your support enquiries
- Detect fraud and prevent abuse of the platform
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not use your data for advertising. DocNeer is an ad-free platform.
3. Third-Party Services
DocNeer relies on the following third-party services:
- Supabase — secure database for storing your account and test attempt data
- Razorpay — processing premium subscription payments
- Vercel — hosting the web application
These providers process data under their own privacy policies and security standards.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on encrypted servers. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. We follow reasonable security practices to protect against unauthorised access. However, no online service is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and never share your credentials.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or out-of-date information
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
- Withdraw consent for any non-essential processing
To exercise these rights, email sidharthsair@gmail.com from the email address registered with your account. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
DocNeer uses essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your active test session (e.g., to prevent loss of answers if the page is refreshed during a test). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
7. Children’s Privacy
DocNeer is intended for users aged 13 and above. Users under 18 should obtain parental or guardian permission before signing up. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has signed up, please email us so we can delete the account.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by Indian law (for example, for tax or accounting records related to payments).
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
